The leader physically stepped back when Ikari revealed at least a sample of his true nature. The man's good eye twinkled as he looked upon what he considered a new threat, and it seemed to be running a million calculations from beneath it's glossy frame.

"aye... I see we have a problem then." He muttered finally, still trying to size up the opposition. "I'm not one to be harmin' 'old men', but I am one to see my duty done. If I go back to my boss, tell him an old man told me to send him personally back to palaver..." He let out a loud belly laugh, but Ikari could easily read the nervousness in it. "I'd be hangin' by me bullocks from the keep walls. No thank you, Mr. lawdog - or peacedog, or whatever you are. Besides, we have it on good authority, he's a criminal - what else do you need?"

"OH paleeze!" Ian finally spoke up, Ikari's new demeanor obviously having been easily picked up by him - he had taken a step back himself. Now he stepped forward once more, but this time to the back, right hand side of Ikari (as if keeping him as his protector). "It's not about the fulkin' Tievery, already. It's about the girl - his daughter - and you Frickin' know it!"

The Eyepatched didn't seem to even care about Ian's rambling, instead he stayed locked on the old man. "Alright then, old timer... I tell ya what. We're going to flash back to the boss, and we're bringing Mr. O'Righty with us... now, mama always said don't underestimate anybody, so I don't plan too. You could be an archmagi for all I know - so I'll tell ya this: If you want us to bring you along, so's you can talk to the boss as well, we'll do it."

Kluk almost broke gaze from Ian at this, but instead just shook his head. His lumbering voice was like a bass drum. "Don't tink dat's good idea, Kurax" he muttered mechanically.

'Kurax' didn't reply. Again, his eye stayed on Ikari, awaiting his answer.
