Subject: Web Browser Question

Hi all. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good web browser? I used IE my entire life until they recently had that security problem. I decided to try Safari, which I liked immensely, however it freezes out ALL THE TIME on Facebook for some reason. Don't know if it's because it's an Apple product and I'm using Windows XP on a PC, but anyway, I've become frustrated with it and want to change. I just don't want to bother trying to find a new browser, and build up new bookmarks again, only to have that one not work for me either. So, does anyone have a browser they're really happy with?

And while we're on the subject, is there a way to take bookmarks from one browser and move them into another? TIA!

[> I love Mozilla Firefox. I prefer it over IE, but I hate IE, so that's not saying much. lol And yes, you can import and export favorites from most browsers, IE and Mozilla Firefox definitely. Just look in your dropdown menus and you should find it. (I'm not sure but it may be different depending on your version). -- JAG Junkie (Ronda), 20:11:55 02/19/09 Thu [1]

[> One thing I love about Mozilla Firefox is the Bookmarks Toolbar. You can add it in and have your bookmark folders appear as drop down menus at the top. Very convenient! -- JAG Junkie (Ronda)--I don't think IE will do that. But I could be wrong since I rarely use IE., 21:32:51 02/20/09 Fri [1]

[> chiming in late but I use firefox too - for several reasons - I don't get the constant flow of pop ups that appear on Explorer. I don't have most of the crashes and freezes. There are a few disadvantages - some sites don't have all their features programmed to work with firefox - so when I use my email for instance, on Mozilla I can't use special features like bold, colored font etc because the idiots at Juno only have it programmed for Explorer - rather short sighted of them if you ask me. -- chris k, 08:23:07 03/01/09 Sun [1]
