Sound Card 101. Well, I spent 3 hours with Dell in India this afternoon. In the process, I actually learned how to open my tower that contains the hard drive, disconnect the sound card, reattach all the wires correctly (including correcting the Dell supposed specialists) and, admittedly with their help, got music and my JAG videos back. YEA! Apparently, my sound card got fried when we had a power outage last Saturday and it took me until today to have time to work on getting it fixed. -- The HarmyBoard HarmDrive

You got useful info out of tech support in India ?!
