We do have everything networked, but unless you have already gone over to the other computer, picked the target location, and shared it on the network, it can be a pain to copy things. And if the computers are on a wireless network, it can take twice as long as if both of them are wired in to the network. In reply to:

What do you call miscellaneous computer parts, because I am SURROUNDED by them. They are all over the computer room, all over the shelves, stuffed into closets...and those are just the parts we haven't thrown away yet. I'm sure that on the days we get rid of old parts, the garbage man must think we are involved in some sort of illegal activity! LOL at boat anchors! We have two very expensive boat anchors right now, neither of which were very old. We have had more computer parts go bad in just the last year than in the previous few years combined. I think it's a conspiracy against people who build their own computers!
