Subject: It's the parents' responsibility to keep their child safe, IMO. When my kids were young, we had one computer, in the family room that was off the kitchen. The screen faced the center of the room. I also had AOL and its built-in parental controls. They had to wait till they were 18 to find all the bad stuff - that or visit friends with more lenient parents. We also did a lot of talking about how to stay safe. There are a lot of stupid parents out there.
