Subject: Democratic Talk Radio

Al Lawrence and Stephen Crockett host Democratic Talk Radio which is based in Al Gore's old Congressional District. We would like the Democratic activists interested in promoting talk radio that is not totally dominated by the Republican Right and their Big Business bosses in Philadelphia to join our discussions on the Democratic Talk Radio website message board. We are available as call-in guests anywhere in America. Our website is http://www.DemocraticTalkRadio.com . We are available by phone at 931-438-1500 or 443-421-0287.

[> Thanks for the notice. Are you going to come back here and converse some more or just spam this web site and run? Your comment about big business bosses is hilarious. I wonder what Ted Turner, Bill Gates, Barbara Streisand, and many other Democrat "Big Bosses" and Democrat/Liberal multimillionaires fall under? Now, let's see, ther is WHAT in Phila, that is extremely Left wing/Liberal/Democrat, and there is NPR and others. Quite a few talk shows feature Libertarian minded hosts as well as Democrats and Republicans. I'd say the Dems/Liberals/Left wingers are more than well represented. Let's see, Republican Right = big business bosses and evil ... Democrats = care about people and good. Do I have that straight? -- William, 11:11:54 07/29/02 Mon (cache-mtc-ah04.proxy.aol.com/64.12.96.169)

[> This just cracks me up. One radio station is such a monstrous threat?! I love how the existence of one conservative forum in the midst of our liberal-dominated airwaves is suddenly "domination"! Wish my checkbook worked that way...I could retire. And it's interesting to see how the purportedly tolerant party is intolerant of anyone airing views they don't like or agree with. -- Spock (not looking to live in Camazotz any time soon, but it appears to the the up-and-coming neighborhood for liberals & democrats), 12:36:19 07/29/02 Mon (user-vc8fm1s.biz.mindspring.com/216.135.216.60)

[> [> Spock, they are so full of lies, deception, hate filled rhetoric, and such that they don't smell their own stench. One of the best spins which they have gotten away with is the variations on the "Evil Rich", and "Evil Republicans", and the "Republican Right Big Business Bosses" as well as painting as evil many Christians and Jews. Democrats are into big business and are quite wealthy. I give you Ted Turner and Bill Gates to name just two. Barabara Streisand, Rosie O'Donnel, Brandon Tartikoff, and on and on. -- William, 13:04:05 07/29/02 Mon (cache-mtc-ah04.proxy.aol.com/64.12.96.169)

Phil has been quite successful Tennesse garnering awards for his broadcasting and as you say he has been a catalyst for change and standing up for rights and freedoms and the constitution. -- William, 21:34:17 07/29/02 Mon (cache-rl02.proxy.aol.com/152.163.189.98)

[> note, if you will, that this talk show is for Democratic activists only....
apparently they're only interested in preaching to the choir....

reminds me of something said re: conservatives and liberals:
conservatives think liberals are just stupid,
while liberals think conservatives are evil

Most of you guys are just followers. Our message board is just for Democratic activists because Republican/Nazi-types abused it with profanity, racial slurs and outright slander when Neal Boortz and the Free Republic launched a smear campaign against us. The comments posted here look like the smears are all you guys little brains could hold. Sad really sad.

[> [> [> [> You had nothing creative or original to say so you parrot SurveyGuy about Liberals being evil and the public stupid and change the words a bit. I can also see that you have nothing much to offer but whining and complaining. At least you came back to this web site and you did leave another message.

The abuse you described at your message board sounds like the behavior of the Liberals, Left Wingers, and many Democrats. -- William, 23:31:46 03/09/03 Sun (cache-mtc-ah04.proxy.aol.com/64.12.96.169)

[> [> [> [> [> We checked out their board first. Just repeating the lies of the left. I still wonder if Robert Rubin will ever face a grand jury to testify. No liberal ever responds to that. Medicare is a disaster- many elderly can't find doctors. Lots of really evil and stupid actions by liberals that hurt people. Who began raiding the Soc. Sec. "trust fund" and then lie about it. Reepublicans need to speak out about that, but they have been complicitly silent. -- SurveyGuy, 19:43:11 03/12/03 Wed (maxtnt04-159.phlpa.fast.net/209.92.96.159)

[> The show will fail. Obviously you will attempt to promulgate continuing lies since you only want "Democratic activists." Conservative talk shows are popular because there is at least an attempt to tell the truth. While this sometimes falls short or deteriorates into idiology, all I ever hear are blatant lies from liberal spokepeople. I get tired of Gephardt's fairy tales. and Daschel's blatant politicizing even to the detriment of the country. it is the agenda, not the nation, that is important. The end justifies the means (doesn't that sound familiar?). -- SurveyGuy, 19:58:30 07/29/02 Mon (maxtnt03-104.phlpa.fast.net/209.92.230.104)

[> [> I took a look at the discussion board. What tripe. Usual parroting of H of R rep lies and character assassinations. No mention of why Robert Run=bin isn't being called to testify. No mention of his part in changing accounting rules while secretary of treasury. Just usual innuendo backed by rumors and lies. Not worth participating in IMHO, but have a look for yourselves. We let everyone post here but lies will not go unchallenged. On that board, lies and idiology are theorder of the day. They think Gore needs to win in 2004 to, get this, "save America." Maybe they can get some Buddhist monks to vote for him. -- SurveyGuy (are we looking at a Lieberman-Gore ticket in '04?), 20:14:43 07/29/02 Mon (maxtnt03-104.phlpa.fast.net/209.92.230.104)

[> [> [> Just curious: Where's Joe coming down on current events in the Middle East? How does he feel about Israel and her position? And his party's pandering to the "poor Palestinians"? And I'll never forget how utterly relieved and disturbed Gore looked at the national prayer service following 9/11 -- he sure as hell was glad he wasn't in the White House for once. -- Spock, 09:07:45 07/30/02 Tue (user-vc8fm1s.biz.mindspring.com/216.135.216.60)

[> [> [> I looked on the site as well. It is a turn off because, as you said, it is full of you know what. Same old repeated lies, exaggerations, old outdated and since disproven rumors and accusations. Why is the Enron thing not a big deal among many democrat members of congress? Because they are involved and have the most to lose if an investigation is pushed foward on the scale that they try on other issues. That is why they are keeping their profile low. They are trying to accuse Bush and the Republicans for it yet it does not stick. Yet they clearly and falsely accuse Bush and the Republicans for this.
