I have an idea...taken off Mom's "regional" idea. Let's do regions of the US! If I can be so bold as to do some (I think logical) assigning:

Kerry - you get a west coast specialty
Laura - how about something from New England?
Karen - you get the mid-Atlantic
Me - I'll take the deep south
Aunt Kay - maybe the south west?
Aunt Mary & Uncle Geoff - hmmmm, most of the country is covered. Maybe you can contact Aunt Sharon for some tips from the Northwest? If not, maybe something "local"?

I'll take starch's - a potato & bread. If that throws someone off let me know and I can make a trade!

Any objections? If you need a suggestion for your area, let me know. I probably have one in my every growing recipe collection!

Mom -- no prob with the recipe. I've got a few good ones, I'll give you too...easy & complicated depending on how much time you wind up with!
