  The end of the competitive year is nearly upon us. To all the dancers who have put in sooooo much effort in getting ready, we wish you all the most fun you can have. If you truely believe you have danced your heart out on the stage then no matter the result you will have achieved. To the teachers must go our sincere thanks for your efforts during the year. Tantrums and Tiara's are all part of the fun of this competitive sport, and without your guidance the children would not be where they are today. To all the volunteers that are helping with the Nationals, take pride in the knowledge that the event would not happen without your help in supporting the teachers.
  
  Two more sleeps for the kids, have a great time and most of all enjoy yourselves!!!!!
  
  I am looking forward to seeing the new dresses on the young ladies, and I believe some of the young men have splashed out on looking sharp in new suits as well. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

  We’re just 10 days away and are looking forward to hosting you all at this year’s event.
  The TIDA website will be updated this evening with the Official Photographer’s details and their prices;
  This year the photographer will be doing Action Shots so they will be based near the judges but away from their eye line. They will also have a studio style set up in the foyer for portrait and/or family shots. All photos will be available for viewing and purchase from their website after the event.
  PLEASE REMEMBER THAT PHOTOGRAPHY AND/OR FILMING IS NOT PERMITTED DURING COMPETITION EXCEPT DURING PRESENTATIONS AND THE DANCE OF CHAMPIONS.
  Please also note that this year we will have an Eftpos facility for door admission and programme sales. Please note that we will not be able to accept credit cards or offer ‘cash out’. (Admission prices are already listed on the TIDA website)
  Competitors will collect their ID badges in the foyer and then enter the auditorium to collect their Competitor bags. There will be a separate registration table for verifying your set dance and collecting your number.
  The back of the auditorium will house the registration table, merchandise pick-up, stalls and a second-hand table. Dresses can be hung on the clothes rack only and all items will be left at owner’s risk as this table will not be manned. It is therefore recommended that you clearly bag and list your items and take home each day.
  The auditorium is strictly no food or drink and we ask that all attendees adhere to this. (Exception being the judges & musician).
  Food will be available for purchase from the main foyer and tables will be set up for eating and drinking at. Slice of Heaven Catering is doing a large and substantial selection for us all.
  Those of you who have ordered and paid for merchandise you can collect these at the event. Anything order during the weekend will be posted afterward.

  Hi All,
  I have a lovely pink sequined dress for sale with all the bits :-) it used to belong to Ruchel Fourie, and it was purchased for one of my students Helen McElroy, so she could compete this year. Helen is actually in need of knee surgery and won't be dancing at nationals and wants to sell the dress before she returns to ireland.   • Agree with most of what you say but I think asking for results should be ok. Unfortunately we can't travel to all comps all the time. We are genuinely interested to see however everyone did. We also love to see photos when we can. I think most people on here are nice there are just a rare few. Sometimes we are interested if someone is still dancing or given up - nothing sinister.
