Subject: Altereds vs Promod in Sealy
Promods get ready, the Outlaw Fuel Altereds are coming to Lone Star Raceway April 5th.
The final will be quick altered vs quick promod.
Mitch King in the "Bone Bucket" ran 4.10 last year at Sealy to be the quickest altered, but lost in the final.
We will see who has the baddest hot rods in the south!
Altereds or Promods?

That will be a cute race, 2600lbs Pro Mods vs 1800lbs Alterds don't seem right but I bet our Pro Mods will still be a treat. You guys are lucky that our Pro Mod guys don't have their power in a Buggy are yall would see 350's not 410's oh yea our guys don't have nitro damn this keeps getting worse but if yall insist come on! One thing you alterd guys need to do is make a rule saying that 2 Pro Mods can't be the 2 fastest so that at least 1 alterd can make 3 passes...

IF THEY MAKE THE RULE THAT ONE ALTERD AND ONE PRO MOD GOES TO THE FINAL THEN THERE WILL BE NO REASON FOR THE PRO MODS TO SHOW UP, SO I HOPE THAT RULE IS NOT SO,THE PRO MOD RACES ARE ELIMINATION STYLE SO THEY HAVE WINNERS AND RUNNER UP'S THE ALTERDS DON'T

Ok .... so how does this work ??? Whats the ladder like and what's the payout ??? How do you know for sure that a fuel car and a pro-mod will be in the finals ??? If this is how it's gonna be then why don't we have a Q-8 in each class and then have the winner of the two run each other ???It may be a good show and alot of fun but please somebody give some more details !!!!!! Thanks ......

Not sure how this is supposed to work, I hope they take the fastest 8 cars and run them don't cut no slack for the alterds let them race elimnation style like everyone is used to, all the fans and doorslammers are heads up racers if we go chicago style then you take out holeshot wins and add nothing you also take out 2 rounds of racing, It states on the Outlaw Fuel Alterd board we are here to put on a show so lets do that.

Hey I'm not trying to start a rivalry, but since people started defending their cars ( I guess they are scared they might loose so they are already giving excuses ) I will point out that you promods with 700 cubic in engines and fancy four link and strut suspensions and aerodynamic bodies with tons of ground force should be just fine against our little 1923 model T Fords with solid mounted front and rear ends. Outlaws do it with tires and motor.
All I can say is I cant wait!
In case anyone wants to know who I am, I am the punk kid who will be taking the pictures trackside in Sealy.

How can you say someone might be scared when ya'll won't dare show without NITRO,LITE CHASSIS,FUEL TIRES,and anyone with common sense knows that solid suspenion is faster thats why the rules state you cannot run solid rear in Pro Mod but that don't matter were here to race so bring on them dune buggy's lets qualify the fastest 8 or 16 and lets race oh yea' ya'll can weigh 1200lbs we won't cry so ya'll dont,,,,,Time To Have Some Fun.....
