Brent-

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mother 13 years ago and I still miss her dearly today. I do know that she is in Heaven and that I will see her again. That gives me great peace. I too have fond memories of watching the Waltons with my family, growing up. Now I watch the Waltons with my family (wife & kids). We have had some wonderful family nights watching the show.
You know- when you feel like it you should have a party in your Mom's memory. You could serve her favorite foods, play her favorite music. Then you could watch one or two episodes that remind you most of her and share stories and photos. You could have a memory book for people to write these memories in. Then you could look back at this night and all these great memories. I will pray for you and remember that the Bible says that Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted. That is a promise you can take to the bank.
