Subject: Having difficulty watching the show

Hi Everyone,

I have been away from the forum for a while. My mother passed away Dec. 4, 2007 and since then it has been very hard for me to watch the show. We watched the Waltons as a family when it aired on network TV and my mom always reminded me so much of Olivia Walton as portrayed by Michelle Learned, they were so much alike. I've gone through a lot of family losses in the last 5 years and with mom's death, it's just been too painful to watch the show right now.

I would like to see the specials that were aired after the show went off the air-they look to be about happier times.
Season 7 with Grandpa's passing and Olivia going to a TB sanitarium...don't think I could handle that right now.

I would appreciate your prayers as I walk through these losses.
