What Ryan said that she left season 7 "The Parting" was her last appearance because she want to move on and got the job for the televison show called "The Nurse" but didn't last. She did come back in Season 8 from "The Home Front" to "The Waiting" and then she came back for post-series Waltons Season TV Movie as a guest appearance on Mother's Day on the Waltons Mountain then full appearance on the last 3 post series on A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion, A Walton's Wedding & A Walton's Easter
