You are so right. Like him or hate him, the actor was brave to step up and play a role, a character, folks were already familiar with for so long. He did do a good job. He was never "John Boy" but he gave it a darn good shot and had RT not played the role for so long I would have accepted him unconditionally as the real JBoy. (Good point) and btw, my dish gets it too dear.
