I too can relate to Grandma's stroke. My wife had a stroke caused by a brain aneurysm. This was in November '91. She lost the use of her right hand, right leg, and also her speech. She can say No, Ma Ma and a few other short words. SHe knows what she wants to say but can't. Can write very little. Just can't get the message to her fingers. SHe had a very lengthy rehab and did regain the use of her right leg and walks fairly well. About like Grandma. We do communicate pretty well, all things considered. She handles it very well and seems to not get depressed. God has been good to her. The best part of the whole thing is she has become a great Chistian since her stroke. SHe has seen all the series where Grandma comes home and her trials and it helps her to see that someone else had to cope with stroke also and how they handled it. There is no put on, it is very accurate on the series. I know you too know that.
