When I watch Grandma Walton in the episodes after her stroke I give so much credit to Ellen Corby for coming back to her role. The episodes with Grandma after she returned home show us what family and courage is all about. These episodes are an inspiration to me.

Jacki, I can sympathize with you, because my mother has Dementia. It's something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I know this will probably be the last Mother's Day I have her. Though most times she's like a stranger, I look in her eyes and there I see my best friend, and the mother I've always loved, and always will love. It's that love that keeps us best friends and gives me the strength I need to tackle each day, and all that comes with it.

How blessed your mother was and how blessed your father is to have a daughter like you.
