who was perfect as Livy. I simply cannot fathom Patricia Neal and Ralph Waite together portraying John and Olivia Walton. It wouldn't have been half so believable as Miss Learned and Ralph Waite...who were very suited to one another. Michael Learned had every quality to make her the perfect Olivia. :-)
