Friend,

I am so sorry for your loss and current situation. I know that it has to be very hard. I lost my Mother around the same time- it was and is very difficult. That is a time of life when you are still young and also a "young adult"- very much still in the need of Mom. I then lost my Dad 6 months later. So I can really empathize. The strange thing is that I can even further understand because I have had two strokes myself. I was 26 & 27 years old. With the first one I had to learn how to talk, walk, eat, the whole nine yards. With the second one that effectes mainly my memory. So, I know what it is like to be on the other side. The thing to do is to remember the good times and the great things about both of your parents. Try to find creative ways of honoring(Dad) them and keeping their memories(Mom) alive.
I hope things are going better for you now. I will keep you and your Dad in my prayers. I also hope that you can turn to the Lord and other loved ones when the going gets tough. He (God/Jesus) and a few special people are the only reasons I got through.
Just a small note- I do have a praise report: I was totally healed and now almost 10 years later I am totally fine- PTL!!

Have an awesome day- know someone is praying for you and cares!!

Sincerely, Don
