thanks dear and i hope you enjoy your trip to VA. most of our vacations have been in a huge circle to gettysburg pa then down thru maryland and va eastern shore, then accross the bay bridge tunnel system to virginia beach where my brother lived for years and then on to willamsburg va. the last time me made this huge circle we stopped in a the waltons museum (closed)and passed the hamner home where i rubbernecked big time! we saw james and polly sitting on the porch of the b and b but i was too shy to stop to talk. oh now i wish i had! i hate to invade privacy! after i realized how friendly that polly and jim both were i wished i had have stopped to say hello. we went to the general store but the clerk was not friendly. i hope you have a lovely time on your trip. someday we intend to do it again and this time stop in richmond at edgar allen poe home/museum.
