Subject: The Waltons and the next generation

My niece was visiting with her baby last week, and of course I turned on the TV for The Waltons in the morning. She mentioned that she had started purchasing the DVDs and was watching them. She had all kinds of questions--don't ask me how it's possible, but she had no idea that I'm a Waltons nerd (that's what my friends affectionately call me). She loved the musical Mother's Day card I got last year and kept opening the card to play it. Well, you can only imagine the joy I feel knowing that the next generation is discovering The Waltons on their own through the DVDs!

I wanted to let you know that I've been blogging regularly on my website now, and much of it is writing-related (although it's also heavy on family, relationships, and hopefully inspiration), so you writers might want to check it out: www.klonicki.com/blog

Of course I have to hold myself back from inserting Waltons' references into every blog!
