My wife and I have been together for fourteen years (not bad for a couple of 33 year olds). It has not always been easy, but we have found that the most important thing for us is good ole communication. Nothing ruins a marriage faster than holding in your feelings until they explode!
My grandparents were together for over 45 years and had a WONDERFUL marriage, so they have been a great example for me. My parents, on the other hand, had a very rocky marriage that just recently ended in divorce after over thirty five years together... But, my parents are baby-boomers, and you know how THEY can be.lol.
And, may I just say, I love the discourse here! I'm never visiting another message board again!
