Catie-

I thank you for the support. I am sorry to hear that you lost your husband. It sounds like you were very blessed and you have alot of great memories. I almost lost my wife around Christmas of this year- she was very sick. However, Praise the Lord- He healed her and she is doing much better.
I would challenge you to do something in your husbands honor and memory. Start a scholarship for persons of need with you and your husbands like interests. Donate books ,with commerative plates in the front; concerning your husbands interests, to your local library. Have a DVD of old pictures and movies compiled with his favorite songs and give them out to immediate family for Christmas. Make his favorite meal and take it to a shut-in or someone in need. Make his favorite dessert and enter it into the county or state fair. Donate a bench or fountain with your husband and your names on it to your favorite park. Take his favorite books and go read them to seniors at a nursing home. There are so many wonderful ways of keeping the memory of our loved ones alive and keep them very close in our day to day life. May the Lord bless you and continue to help you find peace and hope for tommorow.

Blessings, Don
