Hi Grace. The Secret Santa was at Christmas so those who wanted to participate could exchange gifts with other Walton fans. Ruth was in charge of drawing the names for those interested in participating. It was suggested that when we sent our gift we were to pretend to be a member of the Walton family sending a gift to another member. Some received candy, Walton cds, all kinds of things. It was fun hearing what all they got and their replies to their Walton gift giver. The person who had my name had several things happen around that time, including moving to a new location, etc. and was unable to send a gift. Ruth had been so worried about it she sent me a surprise gift as stated in my post. It was so generous and kind of her. I hope we do Secret Santa again next year. It was fun.
