I thought the episode where Erin graduates from high school was actually quite realistic. First, many girls think they have found the love of their life when they are in their teens. Once the boy is gone (for whatever reason) they realize he isn't. Second, in a time when not everyone expected to go to college after high school, it wouldn't have been that unusual for Erin to not be entirely sure what she wanted to do for a job. And girls are quite often 'drama queens' in real life, so why should they be any different in 'reel life'??
