I always liked drying dishes, still do...except the dishwasher takes most of the pleasure away from that today.
Since I was a child I liked to hold china or glass or cutlery in my hands (dish towel) and dry it, enjoying the texture and look of the piece. I somehow never passed that joy on to my own children. lol
My kids did take out the trash...on occasion. lol
