I like the fact that Mary Ellen meets Jonesy but do not like that she finds out that Curt is really alive in that episode. The episode in Florida where Curt is alive is my least favorite. Day of Infamy is one of my most favorite episodes so I think these two episodes tarnish Day of Infamy. To me Curt was a hero in Day of Infamy and his letter to John Curtis was so heartfelt. In my eyes the Florida episode made Curt look a coward and the real Curt was no coward. The Waltons was not a soap opera and those two episodes were too soap operaish - they must have been trying to be like Dallas or some other night time soap at that time.

I don't mind the Ghost Story. I like the connection between mother and child, however, I was not too crazy about the board game. I don't think they had to go to that extreme to get the message across. It could have been more subtle.

I also did not like the episode where Elizabeth made the rocking chairs rock, etc. That episode was way out there.

I did not like the Dust Bowl cousins. I did not like the young son especially. I have not watched in a while but I remember he was in a shed with Mary Ellen smoking a homemade cigarrette. I think Mary Ellen was wearing shorts at the time and Olivia scolded her. I could see why because he reminded me of a dirty minded boy.
