Subject: Woohoo, I'm getting all theatrical...

So because I need a new hobby, I got pulled into a production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Yeah, it's the Shakespeare equivalent of Grease, but it's a way to spend the day. Or week. Or weeks.

Oh yeah, we're running a 1980's theme, meaning we all get to wear really bad fashions.

Still, it's fun, and if this goes well, I might be part of a different production for the fringe festival. One where I don't have to speak in Shakespearean English and I hopefully don't have to beatbox (I told you, it's got a bad '80s theme, and we get to be the Mechanicals-as-Beastie-Boy-Rappers).

Since none of you are in the neighbourhood, I'll relay how it all goes; how many people show up, and what farming implements they chase us off with after seeing it.
