Date Posted: 17:30:37 02/16/04 Mon ~*~*you turned your head back to the cave that led to this place, as several large Gryphons emerged into the meadow, looking up into the sky. several Amarians and their kin emerged from the forest, Nukara among them. you looked up at the source of the shadows- and saw, to your shock, a swarm of Gryphons. you stared at them for a moment- and then they descended through the barriers. as they landed, you saw that they were all very ancient Gryphons- natice to this place. and all of them had riders. they all took off in a flurry of screaches towards those waiting at the cave enterance- running to their families, and long missed lovers. you were surprised that you were not trampled in the rush. you looked around, and then were surprised to see two of them emerge from the group and head for you. the first was a Gryphon who looked like a lion with an eagles head and wings- very beautiful, a very traditional color scheme-- golden body, white feathers. it was of the Elder Breed- and so just as large as the others here. on her back was an elf maiden wearing a suit of black leather, with silver armor on her lower legs and lower arms, as well as a breast plate. her short black hair was bound in a little pony tail at the back of her head. she smiled at you, and looked down- specifically at Cye, Kyle, and Psyke.*~*~ ?- I remember you three, we met in Adeon! remember us? ~*~*the other approacked. her gryphon was a little smaller, and looked to have more of a tiger-like body colored solid gray, and the head of a falcon colored a deeper shade of gray than the body. on her back was another eld maiden, this one wearing near identical armor- but the leather beneath being of a brownish color, and the armor its self being more brassy in tone. her short blonde hair was not bound, and rested just above her shoulders. both women and both gryphons had stunning blue eyes. the first girl went on.*~*~ Akira- its Akira and Zera- we were with the group protecting the city and the reserves. Zera- our gryphons- Akira's Star Wind and my Twilight Mist- were the ones who spotted you over here. anyways, if you remember correctly- there were only the two of us back then. Akira- after the crisis passed, we left and started recruiting other people who had been bound to the Elder Gryphons. we come back here every so often to meet up with their loved ones- and it gives the gryphons a good chance to find mates. ~*~*they glanced over to the forest, and noticed Nukara standing there.*~*~ Zera- she was one of the first ones we found, that girl Nukara over there..... she was one of our finest, her and her Ember Dawn.... Akira- we were flying on a mission a while back...... poor Ember got shot out of the sky by Dragon Riders before they discovered that we were not hostile. i don't think Nukara ever really recovered, so we brought her back here to the care of her family. Star Wind- Ember Dawn was a very good friend of mine. Twilight Mist- her brother Pa'Nan was my sisters mate. Zera- we have been looking for a way to revive the poor dear- there are ways to call the Elders back if they did not die of natural causes. the only option that does not require a sacrafice is, well.... we would rather not say. Twilight Mist- on the positive side, the Kestrian fledgelings are choosing bonds at this time of year. having lost a bond from the old world makes her very high on the list of possible people they may choose. Star Wind- Cye was your name? i believe that they are watching you as well. they can see that you are well adapted to caring for animals, which is an ability that they highly value- as it is one of their beliefs that they should stop and help anything that is hurt. i believe that one is watching you as well, Psyke. Twilight Mist- neither of you are likely to be approached by one, so do not worry.
