I'm always surprised that the fact that Dave couldn't read a note of music was mentioned quite clearly by the narrator in a "Ready Steady Go" clip. Wouldn't the entire viewing audience have heard it when it aired ? It's just a little annoying to claim songwriter credit when you're the producer ...or is that a norm in the music industry ?
