He indeed heard the footsteps, though he didn't really move. More then likely some warrior had come, yet again, to him to explain some emergency that wasn't an emergency at all. He had asked specifically not to be disturbed, yet that was one order that , it seems, is always broken.

He smiled at that thought, and continued and finish up his prayers, finding some measure of peace within the Goddess, and waited for the warrior and his report.
