A moment was all that Tryst had needed, taking advantage of the girl's trip to put herself back into motion. She couldn't pulse good feelings like her brother could, but then he was really bad at pushing out the bad ones. At least in a way that really counted. She was moving as fast as she could after the girl. She had been rude and refused to even stop and talk, that made her a temporary target in Tryst's mind. Mean people she realize that what they were doing was mean.

This girl was going to realize it. She kept her feelings carefully in check so that they wouldn't come out without her meaning to. She was catching up now, and the thick underbrush was giving her as many difficulties as it must have been giving the strange girl by now. Roots and vines were coiled about just waiting for an unwitting foot to find them, but Tryst and Trinn knew this area and the small game trails that jumped and lead through it. One of such trails was coming up ahead, invisible until you either jumped over the foot and a half wide gap or fell into it. It wasn't more than six inches deep, but that made a lot of difference when you weren't looking for it.
