Transt shot a warm smile at Dawnsfire as he extended his hand, one that prompted a smile of her own as she hesitantly took his hand.

Dawnsfire hadn't missed Jarek's reaction to Transt's words about a different mission and wondered what had prompted his wince. Maybe he'd tell her later.....

Something about this woman raised the hairs on the back of Dawnsfire's neck and Whitestar picked up her unease, hissing at Zygenda. If the falcon hadn't been perched on Dawnsfire's shoulder he would have mantled at the woman and possibly launched at attack with talons and beak. Gently Dawnsfire stroked the bird until he calmed somewhat and answered Zygenda's question herself.

"The other is my Clanswoman Silverfox. I trust you will not be so rude to her as you have been to Jarek and myself?"

If there was one thing Dawnsfire detested it was rudeness. Zygenda's rude behaviour towards Jarek gave Dawnsfire at least a trivial reason for her unease around the other woman and she had little doubt that the woman would give her more reasons to be wary around her.
