 The assassin waiting in Zenra's room mentally cursed. His orders had been specific. Kill the Queen, kill the older Emi, kill her daughter Emillia. He'd thought he would be successful in at least two of those kills, the Queen and the older Emi were in the same rooms. The crossbow was leveled at the Queen and desperation pulled the trigger. The assassin knew of this silver and crimson haired stranger, he'd watched from concealment as the winged storm of death had raged across the battlefield. The assassin hoped the bolt struck home, if it did was likely to be the only successful shot before Seraph ripped out his throat.
