 Emi stirred gently, the sound of another voice rousing her. A male voice, one that was only echos in the back of her mind. Pewter eyes opened very slightly, and she gave a whimper of a groan, her face buried sideways into her pillow.

With a huge amount of effort, she forced herself up, propping herself up on her arm.

Her voice was very shaky and quiet; her vision was very blurred.
