 Raaine had reached her shop and was making sure her wares were still under lock and key when the runner nearly ran her over. He waited only a moment before delivering his message and Raaine listened silently until he was finished.

"Return to the palace and tell the Queen I'll be along shortly, there's a few things I need to do before I go back. I'll tell you now there's probably not going to be anyone else who saw what happened, the rain was far too heavy. Go on, return to the palace now, I'll be there soon."

Raaine wasn't happy about this but she understood what was required and turned to finish checking things and locking up her shop since she rather doubted she'd be returning anytime soon.
