 I think Robert - that the women may be thinking about potential loss. I know that I try to balance the short term bliss against the long term.... Why would I chose a now relationship that would result in loss. If a man demonstrates that he is committed to the long term relationship (in what ever forms - ie love, friendship, etc) than I'm more comfortable jumping into a now relationship w/ him.
