<strike>I am sorry</strike>... err, no I am not... but taking away something that Dayel owns because you are bigger than Dayel (psychologically & physically) teaching Dayel that it is okay to steal from someone smaller, weaker than Dayel? “Actions speak louder than words.” And, if you did do the moral and ethical thing and <u>ask</u> Dayel for one of them, should it not be Dayel who chooses which one Dayel wants to give up? Maybe you could even offer compensation for the given DVD.

If Ali saw you take something that you don’t own from Dayel teach Ali it is alright for her to do the same thing, being actions do speak louder than words, (In regards to her taking the DVD player to school.)

It sounds like Ali is old enough and acting as to be the captain of her own ship. Thus, at 18 years of age it is time for her move into her place. ?

Laziness as you call it is most often a symptom of a deeper mental/emotional illness.

If Lorne does not back you up then, then you need to look at your own values to see why you are willing to put up with a living condition that has you in turmoil… like what are the rewards, healthy or not.

As for the values you were raised with… is any part of your chronic depression and anxiety the result of where you were raised from?

What would happen if you said to yourself that you don’t love Ali?

This is just my opinion of course.

RICHARD
