My problem is I overstrive for that praise in order to feel good about myself. I was an all A student, graduated with honors in college....nothing was ever good enough for me, I had to keep achieving something just to try to feel good about myself. My mom was very critical of me growing up, and I kept trying and trying to get her approval. If I got an A in a class, she'd say.....well if you worked harder you could have gotten an A+. That kind of thing...

I have no self esteem whatsover. I feel like a ping pong ball just bouncing around this universe with no direction. I strive like hell to be the best med tech there is...but that is all that keeps me getting up in the morning.

Thanks for posting that article.....it really hit home for me.

Love, Mikki
