Steve,

You should take your own advice. The NRL has announced that the plan is for these cadets to be refereeing in the Toyota Cup in 2009. You can't say that this wont have a significant and detrimental impact on graded referees and those wishing to be graded.

It seems to me that you made quite a nice career for yourself as a referee but bad luck to anyone wanting to follow in your footsteps.
