And I didn't know she had a relapse after she left GH in 2002 and went into rehab. I admire how she picks herself up and gets the help she needs.

Genie talked about how the show put Laura on a diet. If I remember correctly, all the characters were on a diet and excercise program as part of a small story involving Richard Simmons and that character Beverly.

I have never heard of the diet she is going on. I hope she doesn't try to reach an unrealistic goal. She shouldn't be where she was when she was 17 years old.

From that article, it sounds like she took it hard that her contract wasn't renewed. She really wanted to return to GH. I think TPTB are being cruel by not at least contacting her and talking about it.

Genies husband is a sweetie Pie. It's obvious he loves who she is on the inside as much as who she is on the outside.

There are some nasty, shallow posters out there, and not just on SZ. But I really believe that MOST people want a good romantic story between two believable characters and that weight and age is unimportant.
