Subject: Where did everybody go?

Hey, where did everybody go? Dan's pedal broke off and a select few stopped to render aid. Someone said the group was going up to the corner to get off the main road. After trying to get it back together enough to ride (to no avail) Dan decided to limp on home since he lived in Denton. We rode up to the corner and no one was there. Not one rider! I guess too many breakdowns for the group. I mean a flat and then right after someone’s pedal breaks off. I just hope someone stops for you the next time you have a mechanical problem with your bike. The impatience of the group really surprised me this morning. After all that is what brings us together. We write these ride etiquette laws on the web site, but don’t follow what we preach. There is a word for this, but I will be nice. I know you “A” group riders don’t ever want to stop, but this was NOT an “A” group ride! My understanding was it was a group ride. Just a thought!!!
