India will be the first country in Asia to host the Mrs World competition. The event will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Amby Valley in Sahara Lake City.
Over 51 of world's most beautiful and accomplished married women are vying for the crown. Chandigarh-born Jeevika Shah, Mrs India World 2004, will represent the country in the upcoming contest at Amby Valley.

Mrs World is annually produced at a world-class city. A global destination is chosen for picturesque locales. Amby Valley will join creme-de-la-creme cities which have hosted the event. These include Sydney, San Jose, Jerusalem, Moscow, Las Vegas and Hawaii. The city has already been visited by international celebrities.
The Mrs World 2005 television special will be hosted by actor John O'Hurley, best known as "J Peterman" on the hit television series ' Seinfeld '.
The event will award cash and prizes, to Mrs World 2005.
