There has got to be a fairer way of choosing squad gymnasts. A very small number of people obviously have far too much say. If the British Champions automatically got a squad place-there could be no argument. They must be the best-or they wouldnt have won-never mind their body shape. Then the squad could be made up of other gymnasts with potential.
To leave a British Champion out of the squad, year after year, just because she doesnt suit the image of one or two people, is unacceptable.
