*Regarding Moon,Moon is NOT a mainstream figure in American society. You all are giving him far too much credit. "Moonies" as well call them are the subject of jokes and ridicule among mainstream America. I wouldn't worry about him, this false messiah is old and will soon die.(like another false messiah we all know) And then his 'empire' will fall like the falling rain in spring. (Just like another organization we know)

I'd like to address this "lack of information" point brought up by Chris. Chris, nothing could be further from the truth. Unlike Canada and Europe which only provide the extreme liberal point of view, America offers coverage from various points of view. You can take your pick FOX, CNN, MSNBC along with many others.

The problem I have with our European "allies" is that they are in a defeatist mode and refuse to stand up to evil. And when they finally do want to stand up to evil, the have the U.S. do the heavy lifting.(SEE SERBIA) THe United States had the legal right to do what it did. Saddam Hussien violated every treaty he made with the U.S. (end of first gulf war) In addition, I find it interesting how Europeans love to clain the U.N. as a source of authority but when a guy like Hussien breaks every resolution coming out of the security council the Europeans want to do nothing about it. Not only that but you have countries like FRANCE and RUSSIA that collaborate with Hussien and work AGAISNT the very sancations that the UN implements.(oil for food scandal)

The U.S. did not use "brute force". Let me tell you what brute force is....brute force would be using nuclear weapons on every major city in Iraq. Instead, AMerica used 'smart' bombs to pipoint goverment buildings where Hussien might be located. This greatly limited damage to Iraq infrastructure. When the terrorists were hiding out in Fallujah, brute force would have said 'we are going to carpet bomb every sqare section of Fallujah' instead America goes house to house to try and find those responsible. War is ugly, but America has made a good faith effort to try and limit number of casulties, this strategy at the cost of American lives. I guess to many Europeans ANY action of the military is "brute force".

In the end, if Europeans had their way, Hussien stays in power..the rape rooms, the genocide and the "brute force" of Hussien continues. Oh..and yess...France, Russia and Kofi Annan continue to make millions of dollars off the suffering of innocent Iraq's. Yes, what a beautiful world the Europeans would bring us!
