Concordo com a idéia que não devemos ser pessimistas e desanimar quanto à tentativa da prática da autonomia na sala de aula, mas acho que a questão da autonomia do professor seja uma das maiores dificuldades para conseguir a autonomia dos aprendizes. Me chamou a atenção o texto de Little (1995) a este respeito.

“Little (1995) argued that learner autonomy depends on teacher autonomy in two senses: (i) it is unreasonable to expect teachers to foster growth of autonomy in their learners if they themselves do not know what it is to be an autonomous learner; (ii) in determining the initiatives they take in their classrooms, teachers must be able to apply to their teaching those same reflective and self-managing processes that they apply to their learning.”

A minha formação vem do ensino tradicional, do modelo positivista do ensino. Por mais aberta que eu esteja para as novas mudanças, para uma prática pedagógica construtivista, não há como, de repente, eu aprender a ser autônoma e livre de toda e qualquer crença e cultura da aprendizagem tradicional . Tenho que aprender a ser autônoma e ter segurança para poder exigir qualquer autonomia nos meus alunos.Nao sei o quanto fácil isso vai ser. Confesso que esta é uma angústia e ansiedade que tenho. Não sei se algum de vocês compartilha do mesmo sentimento.
