Subject: So I finally have a grill...

I loved how the instructions said that it would take about 30 minutes for consumers and 15 minutes for professionals to assemble.

Still, now that it's put together and I'm a wannabe grilling queen, I'm looking for ideas. I have the basics down but would love to learn your secret-but-willing-to-share marinades/recipes/plain-grilling techniques. My dad always made it look pretty effortless but there are things I clearly don't know.

One thing Dad never made: the "drunk chicken." I'm curious: is it really all that? The one where you roast a chicken atop a partially-filled beer can. I'd give it a whirl if someone thought it was great, but I haven't found anyone who's done it.

Also -- what's your fave BBQ sauce? Bottled or recipe. There's a butcher shop near the town my parents used to live that I loved, but short of driving 1.5 hours to get it, we're doing without. It was more on the savory (vs. sweet) side and I've yet to find something notable in the grocery store. Ideas?
