Of course his brother would get all defensive and riled up about a tiny little wee insult to his mate and it wasn't even an insult really! All pregnant women ate a lot, that was a fact of life! His jaw was clenched and his eyes flashed a brillant emerald green as his spine stiffened. At sixteen years old, he wasn't that much younger then Bree was but his body was maturing at the normal rate of a drakon unlike Bree. He was basically still a whelp, just a child and he didn't even get to stay in his own family home. No, he was sent out to stay with the guards and unmated males of the clan. "Bluidy piece of..." His words were cut off when he saw Durgan tightly shake his head. A low growl escaped his upturned lips, exposing sharp canines as his muscles flexed, ready to spring into action. It was the emotions of a hurt and betrayed youth that him acting so aggressively and he wasn't sure he even wanted to stop the emotions from overwhelming him. The only time his posture eased was when he saw Bree gazing at him with those blue eyes of hers. She was such a beautiful girl, much to good for his dead beat, uncommitted brother. A low breath escaped his lips as he ran is hand through his hair. "Thalla gu Taigh na Galla" He grumbled, telling his brother in Gaelic to go to hell. "I'll just go back to my bunk."With that thrown out of there, he turned, stalking out of the great hall and slamming the door behind him. His brow lifted as he watched his small brother head out the door in such a rage. Looking back to their guests, he shrugged apolagetically. "Tis a young man he is and he doesnae ken how to deal with his idol comin' back a wee bit changed, not to mention with a mate." He explained softly, his brow furrowed. "I think tis just that he is feeling a wee bit..neglected." Bree nodded, her brow furrowed a little as she looked over at Dane. "I think Durgan is right. Maybe you should spend some time with him tomorrow, Dane." Her voice was soft as she reached up to trail the back of her fingers down her mates jaw, feeling that he was tense and slightly astounded over his younger brothers behavior. "We haven't even eaten dinner with him once since we've been here." And they had been back almost six months, six months and there was no contact with the younger drakon. It was no wonder he was feeling desperate for attention, aggressive and ignored. The poor boy. Her brow knitted again, a little concerned still for the boy. If she wasn't feeling so damn weary, she would go and check on him herself. With a small smile, she looked back to their guests. "I wanted to thank you guys too, for all coming over. It's nice to have company..." It was an attempt to stir the attention away from Kaden before Dane went completely dragon and ended up going off and eating the whelp or something equally as drastic.
