(He nodded as he thought about his mate and the eggs that he could always feel inside of her, rolling about like little balls.. well, oblong little balls. He cocked his head as he looked at Durgan and the corner of his lips twitched.) Aye, well, I had started a nest for her in my lair.. but as ye say I canna allow that now. It wasnae such a good plan to begin with, seein as I would have liked ye to look after her regardless of the necklace. (He rubbed his jaw, which was in need of a shave and looked rather thoughtful for a few moments.) I will have to locate a safe place somewhere beyond the borders of the keep. (He murmured, and grinned as Durgan mentioned how she would have to be comfortable, and most of all warm.) Aye, well, as much as ye ken about yer mate bein cold all the bluidy time.. ye have to remember that my mate wields fire all the time and that fire is also my element. (She would be surrounded by fire all the time, warmed by his body and the physical fire he would build for her. She would be both protected and warmed by his element. He pursed his lips.) Will make it a wee bit easier to hunt being right in the forest with her. But I will have to bring the gems and gold that I picked out from my lair.. (That was something he could get over relatively quickly though. He would weave the gems and gold into the nest for her, so that she would have them close to her whenever she lay within it's warmth. They would sing to her and calm her and the bairns.. and when the eggs were finally laid within the nest they would have gems to sing to them as well.)
