He's not just going to come over to Lallybroch without someone escorting him. Not if he's sane at least, who would go marching into a castle full of dragons? She shook her head even as she leaned down to slip on her tennis shoes and then turned to get a light jacket to put on because it was growing close to the evening and it might get cool. And they aren't going to let someone they don't know into Caithness, at least now they know me. She was firm in her tone of voice. She couldn't just sit around and let Dane waste away and the only way to get him better was to have someone go get Tiernan. The man was wary enough of any strangers, Caithness was heavily guarded, it only made sense for her to be the one to go. I'll be careful, Dane. She stated honestly into his mind before she turned to step back into his bedchambers, so she could actually see him as they spoke. Seeing him so pale and weary didn't sit well with her, it made her feel alone and vulnerable. Although she could snap his neck at times for being so obstinate, she felt like she would give anything at that moment if he was his usually snarky self. The corner of her lower lip was worried between her teeth for a few long moments before she nodded definantly. "I will take care of this, Dane, I promise." With that, she took a step back, turning to head out the door. He remained quiet through the whole thing, a little torn because he saw both points of view. Bree was correct in thinking that no one would come to Lallybroch without a proper guide and she was also correct in the fact that Caithness was heavily guarded at all times. Pursing his lips, he leaned back into the chair he was sitting in, thoughtful and quiet for a long moment. He also understood that his brother didn't like the thought of his beautiful, rare, pregnant mate out wandering around the country side by herself....
