She looked up as he began his speech, her eyes interested even as her head ducked down to continue with her meal. She ate until all the meat she wanted was gone and then she pushed the rest over to Dane without a thought. Her head cocked as she listened to him and she shifted a little to sit on her haunches, her larger belly making it a bit strange to sit in this fashion but she got used to it after a bit of situating herself. As he continued on with his story she sighed and shook her head. "I appreciate you wanting to explain things to me, Zidane, but really. I kind of figured it out on my own with you almost dying and then disappearing into another guys body. Really. It was pretty obvious." She let out a soft breath, shrugging her shoulders. "And Kerri told me about the McKails, at least, a little bit about them, when she was explaining how she views the...two of you. You and Tiernan." She shrugged again before she rose to stand once more, shaking out her body. She often felt the eggs within her more after she ate and it made her want to walk a little, as if to shift them back to where they were supposed to be, where the little whelps inside the thin, leathery satches wouldn't be pushing around and rolling into one another. It was quite the unsettling sensations. "I know that it was nothing of your doing that bonded you to him, I understand that it's needed that you join with him." She forced a small smile, though she wasn't sure why she was assuring him. He had known how it would be, he had understood what was going on right off the bat, he had lived for a year within Tiernan and obviously he was very close with the other man at one time or another. He had known what to expect, she hadn't. She was pregnant, tired, had been scared of losing him. Her hormones were out of wack and her mate was a tattoo and being snarky with her. It was understandable, in her opinion, that she was a bit grumpy. The hardest part for her though, was that the dragon in her did not like sharing her mate in the least and while the human in her understood that Dane needed to bond with Tiernan, the dragon just wanted her mate all to herself.
