It was amazing to her that he was responding to her like this, so gentle and tender, the way he was gazing at her made her heart beat a little more quickly. Her own blue gaze searched his for a long moment, desperately trying to get some insight into this man who had claimed her entire life. He was so closed off sometimes, so off in his own world that she felt like an outsider, like a girl to warm his bed but not interfere in his day. Now though, now she felt like she was his entire world and that feeling was so foreign yet so beautiful that she nearly wanted to sob for all the emotions it brought forth. Instead though, she just smiled sweetly and parted her lips to invite his tongue to enter her mouth, to taste and explore to his hearts content. When the kiss broke, she saw the way his eyes blinked closed for a second at her touch to his face and she couldn't help but smile when he nipped at her hand. It was a good reminder that while right now her dragon appeared to be tame and docile, he was still very much a wild animal. "You won't hurt me." She assured him, her fingers brushing through his hair once more. "Please, make love to me..." She requested again, spreading her thighs this time to give him easier access to what she needed. It seemed that near death experiences caused one to want to celebrate life and love and she could think of no better to do so then better having her mate make love to her while their bairns were safe, warm and happy in her belly. She reminded herself quickly to remember to give Durgan the longest hug ever the next time that she saw him - they both owed so much to the other dragon. She could have died that day, could have left Dane all alone...her eyes drifted up at that thought, her hand cupping his jaw as she pulled him down for another kiss.
